I teach computer science at Macalester College, bringing industry perspective to an academic context among the finest colleagues (students, staff, and faculty) a redhead could hope to have. Though I mostly teach full time these days, I still juggle my time between teaching software and building software (in addition to making music, having a family, and generally being a ne’er-do-well bohemian).
I helped design, and often teach, our software projects course, our second-semester intro course, and our programming languages course. I run the Dev Garden, and often work with our Entrepreneurship Department.
